SMS Terms
Effective Date: September 7, 2026
COCO|tivity uses SMS text messaging in connection with the development, testing, operation, and support of conversational communications software.
Development and Testing
During development and testing, SMS messages are sent only to designated test participants who have expressly agreed to participate in messaging tests and whose telephone numbers have been authorized within our testing environment.
Development and test messages may include system-generated messages, conversation tests, notifications, replies, reminders, and other messages used to verify application behavior.
Production Messaging Services
COCO|tivity also provides communications technology that may be used by participating businesses to communicate with their own customers.
When deployed in production, messages may include customer-care communications, responses to customer questions, requested reminders, appointment coordination, status updates, and other communications related to an existing customer relationship or ongoing conversation.
COCO|tivity does not use its customer-care messaging services to send unsolicited promotional messages to consumers.
Message Frequency
Most messages supported by COCO|tivity are part of an ongoing conversation between a customer and a business representative, such as a service advisor assisting with a vehicle.
Message frequency is not based on a fixed promotional schedule. It generally reflects the natural cadence of the conversation and may increase or decrease depending on the customer’s questions, requests, responses, and the circumstances being discussed.
For example, an active vehicle repair may involve several messages over a period of hours or days as the customer and service advisor exchange information, answer questions, provide updates, coordinate decisions, or arrange next steps.
Message frequency therefore varies according to the customer’s interaction and the nature of the service being provided.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply.
